ASIAN MOON FESTIVAL BONSAI WORKSHOPS

Asian Moon Festival 2005 will host bonsai workshops for anyone interested in learning more about the ancient art of bonsai, a Japanese word meaning “tree in a pot”. The Milwaukee Bonsai Society will hold workshops in the Potawatomie stage area on Saturday June 18th and Sunday June 19th. These workshops will include a tree that has already been potted in special soil, lessons and materials. The lessons will be conducted by certified Bonsai Masters. At the end of your workshop, you may leave your masterpiece in the care of the Milwaukee Bonsai booth and enjoy the festival. Your new tree will be ready to take home at the end of the day. An example of the work of Bonsai Master Jack Douthitt is featured on the May cover of Milwaukee Home magazine

The workshop cost is $40 and includes the lessons and all materials. Asian Moon Festival is honored to have the Milwaukee Bonsai members join us for this event. For more information contact Darlene or call 414-324-0727. The workshops will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday June 18 and 1:00 PM Sunday June 19th. These workshops are offered regularly for $80 and up so take advantage of this outstanding opportunity to “learn from the Masters? Workshops are limited to 25 people per day. Pre-registration strongly recommended!
